A perfect hot chocolate always involves a top layer of froth. But when your kitchen isn't decked out with the latest appliances it can be hard to create the perfect layer of froth. Got better things to do than sitting at your stovetop, whisking away for a pathetic amount of froth? Ya, us too. Use a coffee plunger instead! Here's how:
- Heat a cup of milk/mylk in the microwave.
- Add heated milk to coffee plunger and pump 20-30 times. This will pump air into the milk and give you a good amount of froth.
- Fill your mug with 1/2 of the frothy milk and add 2 tablespoons of Damn Sugar hot chocolate. Mix until dissolved.
- Pour the rest of your milk in, stir and enjoy!
So cheap and easy - and you get the most out with minimal effort! Just how we like it ;)
Tip: heat milk for an extra 10 seconds than usual as the coffee plunger will pump the heat out.
