Double Choc Vegan Brownies by Wholesome Inès

Wholesome Inès has such a plethora of amazing dessert recipes on her page, we had to share one of our favourites. She made these double choc brownies in the winter of 2015, and now we'll be enjoying them all year round!

What you'll need:
  • 1 1/4 C spelt flour
  • 1 1/4 C coconut sugar (add another 1/4 C if you'd like them sweeter or 1/4 C rice malt syrup)
  • 1/4 C Damn Sugar cacao hot chocolate
  • 3/4 C cacao powder
  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/3 C dairy free choc chips
  • 1 tsp bicarbonate soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 C almond milk
  • touch salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1/2 C coconut oil
  1. Mix dry ingredients and wet ingredients separately. Then mix together.
  2. Place in a lined brownie tin and bake at 180 degrees for approximately 30 mins until a skewer inserted inside comes out clean. Alternatively you could cook a bit less so they are a little fudgy.
